CCWG 2012Program ScheduleAll meetings are subject to change. The Chautauqua County Weavers’ Guild promotes education and interest in handweaving and other related fiber activities. It is dedicated to sharing weaving experiences and expertise and to having fun with weaving. The Guild was formed in January 1954 by a group of “dyed-in-the-wool” weavers and in 2004 celebrated its fiftieth anniversary. Members come from a wide area of New York, Pennsylvania and Ohio. They possess a wide range of weaving skills from beginner to skilled, but are always willing to share with and learn from each other. The Guild meets the fourth Saturday of the month, March through November, at St.Peter’s Episcopal Church on Elm Street, Westfield, N.Y. Meetings start at 10:00 a.m. and include a brown bag lunch at noon. Membership dues are $20.00 per year. The Guild publishes an electronic newsletter three times a year in March, June and September. |
